'Dance Monkey' tops the Singles Chart for an unprecedented 17th week.

Tones And I’s meteoric rise continues, with ‘Dance Monkey’ notching up an unprecedented 17th week at #1, as Billie Eilish scores a #2 debut with 'everything i wamnted' (more below). In another week of firsts for Tones And I, she performed her global hit on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and was honoured by triple j with the J Award for Unearthed Artist of the Year. Meanwhile, her follow-up single ‘Never Seen The Rain’ remains at #10 for a fourth consecutive week.

Following another public stoush over the rights to her back catalogue, Taylor Swift returns to the Top 50 as ‘Lover’ jumps 20 places. The track peaked at #3 in September and had an initial run of 10 weeks in the Top 50, before exiting the chart for two weeks then re-entering at #43 last week.

#2: Billie Eilish ‘everything i wanted’ – An unexpected treat for fans, ‘everything i wanted’ is the first music Billie Eilish has released since her album When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? came out earlier this year. This is Eilish’s second highest peak on the Singles Chart to date, behind ‘Bad Guy’ (#1 Apr. ‘19), which currently sits at #21, 34 weeks after it was released.

#38: Harry Styles ‘Watermelon Sugar’ – Harry Styles enters the Top 50 for the second time in 2019 with ‘Watermelon Sugar’, which he performed to much fanfare on last week’s episode of Saturday Night Live. The track is the second taste of Styles’ forthcoming album Fine Line, following ‘Lights Up’, which peaked at #7 in October of this year and currently sits at #27.

#39: OneFour ‘In The Beginning’ – Following a string of viral hits, OneFour score their first entry on the ARIA Charts. Currently on their maiden headline tour of Australia, the Western Sydney outfit use ‘In The Beginning’ to assert their position as Australia’s first drill rap crew.

#42 Lauv Feat. LANY 'Mean It' – US singer Lauv enters the Top 50 for a fifth time, teaming up with fellow Americans LANY, who are making their first appearance in the Top 50. 

#46 Martin Garrix Feat. Dean Lewis 'Used To Love' – Dutch DJ and producer Martin Garrix scores his seventh Top 50 hit, while his Aussie collaborator Dean Lewis enters the Singles Chart for a sixth time.
