Tones And I Tops Singles Chart For 18th Week

No stopping ARIA Award winner.

It’s been another huge week for Tones And I, who performed ‘Dance Monkey’ at the 2019 ARIA Awards and collected trophies for Best Female, Best Pop Release, Breakthrough Artist and Best Independent Release at the event. The song she was celebrated for, ‘Dance Monkey’ extends its record for longest-running #1 single in ARIA Charts history by notching up an #18th week in the top position. Meanwhile, her latest single ‘Never Seen The Rain’ rises one place to a new peak of #9.
 
Climbing to new heights on the Singles Chart this week are Arizona Zervas’ ‘ROXANNE’, jumping one spot to #2, and Regard’s ‘Ride It’, which moves from #5 to #3.
 
This week’s biggest mover, Harry Styles’ ‘Watermelon Sugar’ leaps eight spots to reach a new peak of #20. This is the second single from Styles' forthcoming second solo album Fine Line, following ‘Lights Up’, which peaked at #7 in October and this week drops six places to #33.

Lewis Capaldi ‘Before You Go’ – Scottish singer-songwriter Lewis Capaldi enters the Top 50 for the second time in 2019 with ‘Before You Go’, which appears on the extended edition of his debut studio album Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent. His previous single, ‘Someone You Loved’ peaked at #4 in June and this week rises one place to #14.
 
#35: Khalid ‘Up All Night’ – Fresh from performing his hit ‘Talk’ (#4 Apr. ‘19) at the ARIA Awards, Khalid enters the Singles Chart for a fifth time as lead vocalist this year with ‘Up All Night’. The US singer appears twice more in the Top 50 this week, with features on Ed Sheeran’s ‘Beautiful People’, which sits at #25, and Benny Blanco’s ‘Eastside’, also featuring Halsey, which is at #42.
 
#37: Ant Saunders ‘Yellow Hearts’ – US singer Ant Saunders enters the Top 50 for the first time with ‘Yellow Hearts’, which originally gained traction on TikTok and topped Spotify’s Global Viral 50 chart in June of this year. The 18-year-old US singer writes, records and produces his own music and recently signed with Arista Records.
