Who'll Top This Week's ARIA Charts?

January 16, 2019

New releases come from Sam Smith & Normani, Gesaffelstein & The Weeknd, 3 Nights and more.

No Change at the top of this week’s #ARIACharts. On the Singles Chart, ‘Sunflower’ by Post Malone & Swae Lee stayed put at #1 for a second week and on the Albums Chart, the soundtrack to the Queen biopic ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ also maintained that #1 position after winning awards at the Golden Globes.
Who could we see hitting the top spots on the ARIA Charts?

Here are some of the potential debutants and movers we could see this week.

ALBUMS

Looking to debut in the Top 50 this week is the fifth studio album by American country music singer Randy Houser titled ‘Magnolia’ and will also become the artist's first appearance in the Top 50 of the ARIA Albums Chart.

Look out for jumps up the Albums Chart this week by Luke Combs’ ‘This One’s For You’, Queen’s ‘Greatest Hits II’ and the ‘Guardians Of The Galaxy: Awesome Mix Vol.1’.

SINGLES

English Singer Sam Smith & former Fifth Harmony vocalist Normani are set to make a strong debut on this week’s ARIA Singles Chart with their brand new collaboration.

Also set to make a debut this week is the track ‘Lost in the Fire’, a song by French DJ Gesaffelstein and Canadian singer The Weeknd. The pair previously collaborated together on The Weeknd’s 2018 release ‘My Dear Melancholy’, which peaked at #3 in April of last year.

This week’s Singles Chart could include moves by Loud Luxury’s ‘Body’ and 5 Second Of Summer’s ‘Youngblood’.

Find out where your favourite artists placed when this week’s ARIA Charts are revealed at 5pm on Saturday.
