Who'll top this week's ARIA Charts?

March 27, 2019

New releases come from Dean Lewis, Flume, Ava Max and more.

There was no change at the top of the ARIA Charts last week, with Ariana Grande taking out a fifth week at #1 on the Albums Chart with Thank U, Next and the Jonas Brothers scoring a second week at #1 on the Singles Chart with ‘Sucker’.

Which artists will we be vying for the top spots on the ARIA Charts this week?

Let’s take a look at some of the potential debutants and movers.

ALBUMs

Sydney singer-songwriter Dean Lewis will be looking for a new Albums Chart peak with his debut long player, A Place We Knew; ARIA-winning producer Flume releases his first new music in two years, Hi This Is Flume (Mixtape); following the release of their biopic on Netflix, Mötley Crüe could hit the chart with The Dirt Soundtrack; American rapper Rich The Kid could make his Albums Chart debut with The World Is Yours 2.

This week’s Albums Chart could include moves for Bryan Adams’ Shine A Light, Ariana Grande’s Sweetener and more.

Singles

As well as a potential Albums Chart debut, Dean Lewis could claim and new Singles Chart entry with ‘Stay Awake’; Ava Max could score her second Top 50 entry with ‘So Am I’; after four years, Perth’s Tame Impala return with the single ‘Patience’.

Look out for jumps up the Singles Chart this week by Dominic Fike’s ‘3 Nights’, Dean Lewis’ ‘7 Minutes’ and ‘Be Alright’, Calvin Harris & Rag'N'Bone Man’s ‘Giant’ and Marshmello’s ‘Here With Me’, among others.
