Who'll top this week's ARIA Charts?

April 3, 2019

New releases come from Billie Eilish, I Prevail, Devin Townsend and more.

At the top of the ARIA Charts last week, Sydney singer-songwriter Dean Lewis scored his first #1 album as he debuted in the top spot with A Place We Knew. On the Singles Chart, the Jonas Brothers made it three weeks at #1 with ‘Sucker’.

Who could we see challenging for the top spots on this week’s ARIA Charts?

Here are some of the likely debutants and movers.

American singer-songwriter Billie Eilish could take out a new Albums Chart peak with her debut album,  When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?; American metalcore band I Prevail will be aiming for a second Top Ten entry with second album, Trauma; prodigious Canadian musician Devin Townsend releases his 18th studio album, Empath; Melbourne blues-rock veterans The Black Sorrows return with 18th studio album, Citizen John; American actor/songwriter Ben Platt releases his debut album, Sing To Me Instead.

Albums that could make a move up this week’s chart include the Hilltop Hoods’ The Great Expanse, Keith Richards’ Talk Is Cheap and more.

With Billie Eilish’s When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? Set for a high debut on the Albums Chart, the American singer-songwriter could hit the Singles Chart with tracks including ‘Bad Guy’, ‘All The Good Girls Go To Hell’, ‘Xanny’, ‘My Strange Addiction’, ‘I Love You’, ‘Ilomilo’, ‘Listen Before I Go’, ‘8’ and ‘Goodbye’.

Look out for moves up this week’s chart by Billie Eilish’s ‘Bury A Friend’, ‘Wish You Were Gay’, ‘When The Party's Over’ and ‘You Should See Me In A Crown’, as well as Lil Nas X’s ‘Old Town Road’ and Lewis Capaldi’s ‘Someone You Loved’.
