Who'll top this week's ARIA Charts?

April 10, 2019

New releases come from Khalid, Russell Morris, Blackpink and more.

It was a Billie Eilish double on last week’s ARIA Charts with the American singer-songwriter debuting at the top of the Albums Chart with When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? and at #1 on the Singles Chart with ‘Bad Guy’.

Which acts could challenge for the top positions on the ARIA Charts this week?

Let’s take a look at some of the possible debutants and movers.

American singer-songwriter Khalid could be set for a new Albums Chart peak with second album, Free Spirit; ARIA Hall Of Fame member Russell Morris could hit the chart for the first time since 2015 with Black And Blue Heart; American country duo Brooks & Dunn reimagine some of their classics on Reboot; prog metal band Periphery could take out a sixth Top 50 entry with Periphery IV: Hail Stan; American singer-songwriter Sara Bareilles could return to the Albums Chart for the first time since 2008 with Amidst The Chaos; Canadian punk rock band Pup could make their charts debut with third album, Morbid Stuff.

This week’s Albums Chart could include moves by the soundtrack to Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse and Imagine Dragons’ Origins, among others.

K-pop group Blackpink could make their Top 50 debut with ‘Kill This Love’; American artists Ariana Grande and Victoria Monét team up on the track ‘Monopoly’; Khalid could chart with another track from Free Spirit, the John Mayer-featured ‘Outta My Head’.

Look out for jumps up this week’s Singles Chart by Khalid’s ‘Talk’, ‘My Bad’ and ‘Better’, as well as Lil Nas X’s ‘Old Town Road’ and Marshmello’s ‘Here With Me’.
