Who'll top this week's ARIA Charts?

May 1, 2019

New releases come from P!nk, Rob Thomas, Taylor Swift and more.

On last week’s ARIA Charts, Billie Eilish returned to #1 on the Albums Chart with When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? and ‘Old Town Road’ by Lil Nas X held the top spot on the Singles Chart for a second week.

Who could we see taking out the top spots on this week’s ARIA Charts?

Here are some of the likely debutants and movers.

P!nk could be set for her sixth #1 album on the ARIA Charts with Hurts 2B Human; Matchbox Twenty’s  Rob Thomas returns with his fourth solo album, Chip Tooth Smile; Hillsong United could return to the chart with the live album People; Welsh indie rock band Catfish And The Bottlemen release their third album, The Balance; American rapper ScHoolboy Q could take out a third Top 50 entry with his fifth album, Crash Talk; Welsh singer-songwriter Marina could score her third Top 50 entry with Love + Fear; The Cranberries release their eighth and final studio album, In The End; Melbourne’s prolific King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard release Fishing For Fishies, their first album in over a year; David Campbell returns to his swinging roots with Back In The Swing; Melbourne band Ceres could make their Albums Chart debut with third album, We Are A Team; New Zealand singer-songwriter Aldous Harding could hit the Top 50 for the first time with her third album, Designer; the compilation of entries for Eurovision Song Contest Tel Aviv 2019 could be set for its first week in the Top 50.

This week’s Albums Chart could include moves by Post Malone’s Stoney, Taylor Swift’s 1989 and more.

Taylor Swift will be aiming for a strong debut with new single ‘Me!’, featuring Brendon Urie of Panic! At The Disco; SZA, The Weeknd and Travi$ Scott join forces for the Game Of Thrones-inspired ‘Power Is Power’; as well as a debut on the Albums Chart, P!nk could take out a new Singles Chart entry with the Khalid-featured ‘Hurts 2B Human’.

Look out for moves up this week’s chart by P!nk’s ‘Walk Me Home’, Mabel’s ‘Don't Call Me Up’ and Lil Dicky’s ‘Earth’, among others.
