Who'll top this week's ARIA Charts?

June 12, 2019

New releases come from Jonas Brothers, Avicii, Meg Mac and more.

On last week’s ARIA Charts, Jimmy Barnes took out the record for most #1 albums as he scored his 12th chart-topper with My Criminal Record. On the Singles Chart, it was week seven at #1 for Lil Nas X’s ‘Old Town Road’.

Who could we see vying for the top spots on this week’s ARIA Charts?

Here are some of the possible debutants and movers.

ALBUMs

The Jonas Brothers could return to the Albums Chart for the first time in a decade with Happiness Begins; the late Avicii could hit the Top 5 with the posthumous release TIM; Sydney singer-songwriter Meg Mac returns with the mini-album Hope; American rapper Tyga could score his first solo Albums Chart entry with Legendary; Sydney duo Polish Club return with second studio album, Iguana; American metal band Motionless In White could take out a third Top 50 entry with Disguise; Norwegian singer-songwriter AURORA could make her Top 50 debut with A Different Kind Of Human (Step 2).

Among the movers on this week’s Albums Chart could be Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper’s soundtrack to A Star Is Born.

Singles

As well as hitting the Albums Chart, Avicii could chart with the single ‘Heaven’; American country artist Luke Combs could make his Top 50 debut with ‘Beer Never Broke My Heart’; The Chainsmokers and Bebe Rexha team up for ‘Call You Mine’; Tyga could also hit the Singles Chart with ‘Haute’; Melbourne artist Tones And I could take out a second Top 50 entry with ‘Dance Monkey’; Guy Sebastian could take out a second Top 50 entry for 2019 with ‘Choir’.

Look out for moves up the Singles Chart this week by the Jonas Brothers’ ‘Sucker’, Tones And I’s ‘Johnny Run Away’, MeduZa’s ‘Piece Of Your Heart’, Miley Cyrus’ ‘Mother's Daughter’ and more.
