Who'll top this week's ARIA Charts?

June 19, 2019

New releases come from Bruce Springsteen, Madonna, Taylor Swift and more.

At the top of the ARIA Charts last week, Billie EIlish returned to take out a fifth week at #1 on the Albums Chart with When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? and Lil Nas X holds #1 on the Singles Chart for an eighth week with ‘Old Town Road’.

Which acts could we see take out the top positions on the ARIA Charts this week?

Let’s look at some of the likely debutants and movers.

Legendary singer-songwriter Bruce Springsteen will be aiming for his fourth ARIA #1 with 19th studio album, Western Stars; pop icon Madonna could take out a record-equaling 12th #1 album with Madame X; Sydney producer Hayden James could make his first Albums Chart appearance with debut LP, Between Us; British group Bastille could return to the chart for the first time in three years with Doom Days; American metal band Baroness could make their Top 50 debut with fifth album, Gold And Grey.

This week’s Albums Chart could include moves by both Taylor Swift’s 1989 and Reputation.

Taylor Swift could pick up a second Top Ten in as many months as she releases ‘You Need To Calm Down’; Drake could make his first Top 50 appearance as a lead artist for 2019 with the Rick Ross-featured ‘Money In The Grave’; Atlanta rapper Blanco Brown could make his chart debut with ‘The Git Up’; after hitting the Albums Chart last year with Ballads 1 (#17 Nov. ’18), Japanese artist Joji could hit the Singles Chart for the first time with ‘Sanctuary’.

Look out for moves up the Singles Chart this week by Chris Brown’s ‘No Guidance’, MeduZa’s ‘Piece Of Your Heart’, Taylor Swift’s ‘Me!’ and more!
