Who'll top this week's ARIA Charts?

August 7, 2019

New releases come from The Teskey Brothers, Northlane, Ariana Grande and more.

At the top of the ARIA Charts last week, Tones And I became the first Australian #1 on the Singles Chart in a year as she hit the top spot with ‘Dance Monkey’. On the Albums Chart, Ed Sheeran made it three weeks at #1 with No.6 Collaborations Project.

Who could we see taking out the top positions on this week’s ARIA Charts?

Let’s have a look at some of the possible debutants and movers.

ALBUMs

Melbourne band The Teskey Brothers will be aiming for their first Top Ten appearance with second album, Run Home Slow; Sydney metalcore band Northlane could score a fourth Top Ten entry with Alien; Drake releases his first compilation, Care Package; Aussie duo Holy Holy will be aiming for a new chart peak with third album, My Own Pool Of Light; with their catalogue hitting digital services for the first time Tool could make their Top 50 debut with debut album Undertow and early EP Opiate; American rock band Skillet could notch up their second chart entry with Victorious; the soundtrack to Descendants 3 could make its Top 50 debut.

Tool albums Aenima, Lateralus and 10,000 Days could return to the Top 50 after their release on digital services; Shawn Mendes’ self-titled third album could make its Top 50 return.

Singles

Ariana Grande could score her twelfth Singles Chart entry for 2019 as she teams up with pop duo Social House on ‘Boyfriend’; after charting earlier in the year with ‘I’m So Tired…’(#11 Mar. ’19), Lauv could pick up another entry with the Anne-Marie-featured track ‘F**k, I'm Lonely’.
