Who'll top this week's ARIA Charts?

New releases come from Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, City and Colour, The Darkness and more.

At the top of the ARIA Charts last week, ‘Dance Monkey’ by Tones And I broke the record for most weeks at #1 on the ARIA Singles Chart by an Australian artist as it took out a tenth consecutive week in the top spot. On the Albums Chart, Post Malone notched up his fourth week at #1 with Hollywood’s Bleeding.

Who could we see vying for top honours on the ARIA Charts this week?

Let’s check out some of the possible debutants and movers.

ALBUMs

Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds will be aiming for their 12th Top Ten entry with Ghosteen; Canada’s City and Colour return with A Pill For Loneliness, their first album in four years; British rockers The Darkness release their sixth album, Easter Is Cancelled; American R&B singer-songwriter Summer Walker could make her Albums Chart debut with Over It; releasing third album, True North, hip hop artist Maundz could score his second Top 50 entry; Irish singer-songwriter Dermot Kennedy could chart with debut album, Without Fear; indie supergroup Dyson Stringer Cloher release their debut self-titled album; American indie veterans Wilco release their 11th album, Ode To Joy.

This week’s Albums Chart could include moves by Elton John’s Diamonds, Tyler, The Creator’s Igor and Lizzo’s Cuz I Love You, among others.

Singles

Travis Scott could take out his first new Top 50 entry for 2019 with ‘Highest In The Room’; American country duo Dan + Shay team up with Justin Bieber for ‘10,000 Hours’; French Montana could return to the Top 50 for the first time since 2017 with the Post Malone, Cardi B & RVSSIAN-featured track ‘Writing On The Wall’.

Look out for jumps up this week’s chart by Maroon 5’s ‘Memories’, Regard’s ‘Ride It’, Lizzo’s ‘Good As Hell’ and blackbear’s ‘Hot Girl Bummer’.
