Who'll top this week's ARIA Charts?

October 16, 2019

New releases come from Harry Styles, Hillsong Worship, Grinspoon and more.

On last week’s ARIA Charts, Tones And I’s ‘Dance Monkey’ I broke the record for most weeks at #1 on the Singles Chart by a female solo act and Post Malone’s Hollywood’s Bleeding hit its fifth week at #1 on the Albums Chart.

Who could we see taking out the top spots on this week’s ARIA Charts?

Here are some of the likely debutants and movers.

ALBUMs

Hillsong Worship could be set for a fourth Top Ten entry with Awake; Grinspoon release the vinyl-only compilation, Chemical Heart (Best Of); Japanese kawaii metal band Babymetal could claim their second Top Ten entry with third album, Metal Galaxy; pop collective 88rising will be aiming for their first Top 50 entry with Head In The Clouds II; Italian metal band Lacuna Coil return with their ninth album, Black Anima; British indie veterans Elbow release their eighth studio album, Giants Of All Sizes.

This week’s chart could include moves by Lewis Capaldi’s Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent and Hayden James’ Between Us, among others.

Singles

Harry Styles returns with ‘Lights Up’, the first single from his forthcoming second solo album.

Look out for moves this week by singles including Dan + Shay & Justin Bieber’s ‘10,000 Hours’, Regard’s ‘Ride It’, blackbear’s ‘Hot Girl Bummer’, Ed Sheeran’s ‘South Of The Border’ and Halsey’s ‘Graveyard’.
