Who'll top this week's ARIA Charts?

October 23, 2019

New releases come from Jessica Mauboy, Katy Perry, Horrorshow and more.

At the top of the ARIA Charts last week, Tones And I notched up her 12th week at #1 on the Singles Chart with ‘Dance Monkey’. On the Albums Chart, it was week six at #1 for Hollywood’s Bleeding by Post Malone.

Who could we see taking out the top spots on this week’s ARIA Charts?

Here are some of the likely debutants and movers.

ALBUMS

Jessica Mauboy will be aiming for her second individual #1 album as she releases HILDA; American band  Alter Bridge could take out their second Album Chart Top Ten with Walk The Sky; releasing New Normal, their fifth album, Sydney hip hop duo Horrorshow could score their third Top Ten; Triple J Like A Version 15 could become the tenth in the series to hit the Top Ten; British band Foals release their second album of 2019, Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost Part 2; James Arthur returns with YOU, his first album in three years; American pop punk stalwarts Jimmy Eat World release their tenth album Surviving.

This week’s Albums Chart could include a move by Cold Chisel’s The Best Of Cold Chisel: All For You, among others.

Singles

Katy Perry could pick up her third Top 50 entry for 2019 with new single ‘Harleys In Hawaii’; Dutch DJ/producer Sam Feldt could make his first appearance on the chart since 2015 with ‘Post Malone’.

Look out for moves up the Singles Chart this week by Regard’s ‘Ride It’, blackbear’s ‘Hot Girl Bummer’, Tones And I’s ‘Never Seen The Rain’, Flume’s ‘Rushing Back’ and Freya Ridings’ ‘Castles’.
