Who'll top this week's ARIA Charts?

November 13, 2019

Tones And I could break her biggest record yet.

Kanye West’s Jesus Is King spent a second week at #1 on the ARIA Album Chart last week, marking his longest ever reign in the top spot, while Tones And I’s ‘Dance Monkey’ continued its dominance of the Singles Chart, notching up a 15th week at the summit.

Who will be vying for prime positions on the ARIA Charts this week?

Let’s take a look at some of the possible debutants and movers.

ALBUMs

US country singer Luke Combs could reach a new peak on the Albums Chart with his second album, What You See Is What You Get; Irish rockers The Script return with their sixth album, Sunsets & Full Moons; pop icons George Michael & WHAM! look set to return to the Top 50 with Last Christmas - The Original Motion Picture Soundtrack; New Zealand band Six60 could be headed for their first Top 50 entry with their third album, Six60 (3); acclaimed UK singer FKA Twigs could take out her second Top 50 entry with her second album, Magdalene; US rapper Doja Cat is on track to make her chart debut with Hot Pink; Australian vocal powerhouse Vanessa Amorosi returns with her first album in 10 years, Back To Love.

This week’s Albums Chart could include moves by Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds’ Ghosteen, U2’s The Joshua Tree, and Tool’s Fear Inoculum, among others.

Singles

With no debuts forecast for the Singles Chart this week, all eyes will be on the record for most time spent in the #1 position as Tones And I approaches the milestone with the ubiquitous ‘Dance Monkey’.

Look out for new peaks for Dua Lipa’s ‘Don’t Start Now’, Tones And I’s ‘Never Seen The Rain’, and Meduza’s ‘Lose Control’.
