Who'll top this week's ARIA Charts?

December 11, 2019

Aussie icons Cold Chisel closing in on another #1.

Robbie Williams’ The Christmas Present rose a spot to give the UK superstar his fifth #1 album last week, while Tones And I’s ‘Dance Monkey’ received a post-ARIA Awards boost to remain at the top of the Singles Chart for an unprecedented 19th week.

Who will be vying for prime positions on the ARIA Charts this week? Let’s take a look at some of the possible debutants and movers.

Albums

Iconic Australian rockers Cold Chisel are on track to score their first #1 since 1998 with Blood Moon; Cuban-American pop star Camila Cabello is eyeing her second Top 5 debut with her second solo album Romance; Aussie superstar Kylie Minogue could earn her 19th Top 20 entry with Golden – Live In Concert; US dance duo The Chainsmokers are closing in on a Top 30 finish with World War Joy; Former One Direction star Liam Payne could enter the Top 40 with his debut album LP1.

As we approach the gift-giving season, movers on the Albums Chart could include Billie Eilish’s When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?, Hilltop Hoods’ State Of The Art, Ariana Grande’s Thank U, Next, and Ziggy Alberts’ Laps Around The Sun.

Singles

According to early figures, Harry Styles is the only artist expected to post a debut entry on the Singles Chart with ‘Adore You’ likely to land in the Top 15, while Tones And I is expected to maintain her stranglehold on the top spot for a record-extending 20th week with ‘Dance Monkey’.
