February 20, 2019

New releases come from Florida Georgia Line, Cardi B & Bruno Mars, The Cat Empire and more.

It was an Ariana Grande double at the top of last week’s ARIA Charts, with the American star taking out her fourth #1 album with Thank U, Next and holding the top of the Singles Chart for a fourth week with ‘7 Rings’.

Who could we see challenging for the top spots on this week’s ARIA Charts?

Here are some of the possible debutants and movers.

American duo Florida Georgia Line will be aiming for a second Top Ten album with Can't Say I Ain't Country; Avril Lavigne returns with Head Above Water, her first album in six years; Melbourne’s The Cat Empire released their eighth studio album, Stolen Diamonds; with Triage, their third album, Perth band Methyl Ethel will be aiming for a new Albums Chart peak; Sydney band Dear Seattle release their debut album, Don't Let Go; Swedish punk band Millencolin return with ninth album, SOS; following a reissue to mark its tenth anniversary, Drake’s debut mixtape, So Far Gone, could make its chart debut; to mark their farewell tour, Kiss release the career-spanning compilation, Kissworld - The Best Of Kiss.

This week’s Albums Chart could include moves by Queen’s Greatest Hits II, Elton John’s Diamonds and more.

After collaborating on ‘Finesse’ (#6 Feb. ’18), Cardi B and Bruno Mars join forces again on ‘Please Me’; Zedd and Katy Perry team up for ‘365’; British singer-songwriter Yungblud could make his Singles Chart debut, as he collaborates with Halsey on ‘11 Minutes’; George Ezra follows up ‘Shotgun’ (#1 Sept. ’18) with ‘Hold My Girl’.
