Who'll top this week's ARIA Charts?

April 22, 2020

New releases come from The Smith Street Band, Fiona Apple and more.

At the top of the ARIA Charts last week, Dua Lipa took out her first #1 album with Future Nostalgia and The Weeknd returned to #1 on the Singles Chart for an 11th week with ‘Blinding Lights’.

Who could we see at the top of the ARIA Charts this week?

Here are some of the contenders.

ALBUMS

Melbourne’s The Smith Street Band could grab their second Top Ten entry in as many months as they release fifth album Don't Waste Your Anger; American singer-songwriter Fiona Apple returns with her first album in eight years, Fetch The Bolt Cutters; Gold Coast country artist Casey Barnes could make his Top 50 debut with Town Of A Million Dreams; rapper DaBaby releases Blame It On Baby, his second album in less than six months; releasing debut album, Love Is Not Dying, American artist Jeremy Zucker will be hoping for his first Top 50 entry.

This week’s chart could feature moves by Niall Horan’s Heartbreak Weather and Lizzo’s Cuz I Love You, among others.

SINGLES

Sam Smith and Demi Lovato team up for the new track ‘I'm Ready’; as well as an Albums Chart debut DaBaby could hit the Singles Chart with ‘Rockstar’.

Look out for Doja Cat’s ‘Boss B**ch’ to be among the big movers on this week’s chart.
