Who'll top this week's ARIA Charts?

February 19, 2020

New releases come from Tame Impala, Justin Bieber, Billie Eilish and more.

Last week on the ARIA Charts, American rockers Green Day claimed their third #1 album as they returned with Father Of All… Over on the Singles Chart, it was week four at #1 for ‘Blinding Lights’ by The Weeknd.
Which acts could be vying for the #1s on this week’s ARIA Charts?
Here are some of the likely debutants and movers.
After five years between studio albums, Perth’s Tame Impala could be headed for their second #1 with The Slow Rush; Justin Bieber will be aiming for his fourth #1 album with Changes; following his Fire Fight performance John Farnham could hit the Top 50 with the Greatest Hits compilation.
This week’s chart could see moves by Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody soundtrack, Lewis Capaldi’s Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent and the Hilltop Hoods’ The Great Expanse, among others.
Billie Eilish could pick up her first new Top 50 entry for 2020 as she releases the James Bond theme ‘No Time To Die’; on the back of the release of Changes, Justin Bieber could hit the Singles Chart with ‘Forever’; Sam Smith releases ‘To Die For’, the title track of the singer’s forthcoming third album; Texan duo Surfaces will be aiming for their Top 50 debut with ‘Sunday Best’; as well as possibly hitting #1 on the Albums Chart, Tame Impala will be hoping to pick up their first ever Top 50 entry on the Singles Chart with ‘Borderline’.
Singles that could jump up the chart this week include Justin Bieber’s ‘Intentions’ and ‘Yummy’, as well as Doja Cat’s ‘Say So’.
