Who'll top this week's ARIA Charts?

February 26, 2020

New releases come from BTS, The Amity Affliction, Polaris and more.

On last week’s ARIA Charts, Tame Impala scored their second #1 album as The Slow Rush debuted in the top spot. For the fifth straight week, The Weeknd was #1 on the Singles Chart with ‘Blinding Lights’.

Who could we see take out the top spots on the ARIA Charts this week?

Let’s take a look at some of the likely debutants and movers.

ALBUMS

Korean superstars BTS will be aiming for their second #1 album with Map Of The Soul: 7; Gympie metalcore band The Amity Affliction will be hoping for their fifth successive #1 album with Everyone Loves You…Once You Leave Them; Sydney’s Polaris could be headed for a new chart peak with second album The Death Of Me; the legendary Ozzy Osbourne releases Ordinary Man, his first solo album in ten years; Canadian artist Grimes could take out her second Top 50 entry with fifth album Miss Anthropocene.

This week’s chart could see a move by Selena Gomez’s Rare, among others.

SINGLES

Currently #1 on the Singles Chart, The Weeknd could pick up another chart entry with ‘After Hours’; on top of a likely Albums Chart debut, BTS could hit the Singles Chart for the first time in 2020 with ‘On’; ‘Pump It Up’, a 2004 single by Belgian artist Danzel, could hit the chart in 2020 thanks to a remix by British DJ Endor.

Watch out for moves up the Singles Chart this week by Doja Cat’s ‘Say So’ and SAINt JHN’s ‘Roses’.
