Big moves for Macklemore, Kesha and more!

After thirteen straight weeks at #1, Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee’s ‘Despacito’ has been ousted from the top spot on the ARIA Singles Chart by P!nk and her new single ‘What About Us’ (see below).

Macklemore’s ‘Glorious’ has taken a new peak this week, moving up one spot to #2. It’s the track’s eighth week in the top 50.

In the week that her comeback album Rainbow debuts at #3, its lead single ‘Praying’ has moved up two spots to claim a new peak at #6. It previously peaked at #7.

Moving up five spots this week to #15, ‘New Rules’ becomes Dua Lipa’s second-highest peak on the ARIA Singles Chart. Her best place today has been with ‘Be The One’ (#6 May ’16).

This week’s Singles Chart also includes new peaks for Louis Tomlinson’s ‘Back To You’ (#11), Demi Lovato’s ‘Sorry Not Sorry’ (#21), Childish Gambino’s ‘Redbone’ (#27), J Balvin & Willy William’s ‘Mi Gente’ (#31), Lauv’s ‘I Like Me Better’ (#40) and Axwell & Ingrosso ‘More Than You Know’.

Debuts:

#1: P!nk ‘What About Us’ – With the first single from her forthcoming seventh album Beautiful Trauma, American star P!nk scores her ninth #1 on the ARIA Singles Chart. ‘What About Us’ draws P!nk level with Delta Goodrem for the second most #1 singles in ARIA Charts history. P!nk has previously hit #1 with ‘Most Girls’ (#1 Oct. ’00), the collaboration with Christina Aguilera, Lil' Kim and Mýa, ‘Lady Marmalade’ (#1 May ‘01), ‘Get The Party Started’ (#1 Dec. ’01), ‘So What’ (#1 Sept. ’08), ‘Raise Your Glass’ (#1 Oct. ’10), ‘Blow Me (One Last Kiss)’ (#1 Jul. ’12), ‘Just Give Me A Reason’ (#1 Feb. ’13) and ‘Just Like Fire’ (#1 May ’16). Beautiful Trauma is released in October.

#33: Avicii Feat. Sandro Cavazza ‘Without You’ – The first appearance on the ARIA Singles Chart for Swedish DJ/producer Avicii since ‘Broken Arrows’ (#30 Nov. ’15). ‘Without You’ comes from Avicii’s new EP Avici, which has debuted at #14 on this week’s Albums Chart.
