Who'll top this week's ARIA Charts?

Contenders include Amy Shark, Allday, Shawn Mendes and more.

It was a milestone week on last week’s ARIA Charts, with Ed Sheeran’s ‘Shape Of You’ returning to the top spot and claiming its record-breaking fourteenth week at #1 on the ARIA Singles Chart. On the Albums Chart, Sheeran’s ÷ notched up its seventh consecutive week at #1.

Which artists will be in contention on this week’s chart?

ALBUMs

After peaking at #3 on the Singles Chart with ‘Adore’, Gold Coast singer-songwriter Amy Shark could be set for an Albums Chart debut with the Night Thinker EP; Adelaide-born rapper Allday could score a second top ten entry with second album Speeding; Guardians Of The Galaxy: Awesome Mix Vol. 2 could give the film series its second top ten soundtrack; American band Incubus return with their first album since 2011, 8; country artist Brad Paisley could grab a fourth top 50 entry with eleventh album Love And War; British metalcore band While She Sleeps could make their top 50 debut with third album You Are We; singer-songwriter Xavier Rudd could score a second top 50 entry with a live with Live In The Netherlands; Adelaide’s Bad//Dreems return with second album Gutful.

Albums that could make a move up the chart this week include Tash Sultana’s Notion, James Blunt’s The Afterlove and Shawn Mendes’ Illuminate.

Singles

Shawn Mendes could pick up his first new chart entry for 2017 with ‘There's Nothing Holdin' Me Back’; Lana Del Rey teams up with The Weeknd for ‘Lust For Life’, the title track of her forthcoming album; Melbourne artist Tash Sultana could score a second top 50 entry thanks to new single ‘Murder To The Mind’; Icelandic band Kaleo could make their top 50 debut with ‘Way Down We Go’.

Look out for moves up this week’s Singles Chart by Lady Gaga’s ‘The Cure’, Kendrick Lamar’s ‘DNA.’, G-Eazy & Kehlani’s ‘Good Life’ and Bliss N Eso’s ‘Moments’.
