Who'll top this week's ARIA Charts?

Contenders include The xx, The McClymonts, The Chainsmokers and more.

Last week on the ARIA Charts, Ed Sheeran created history when became the first artist to have simultaneous debuts at #1 and #2 on the Singles Chart with ‘Shape Of You’ & ‘Castle On The Hill’, respectively.  On the Albums Chart, the Trolls soundtrack held #1 for a second straight week.

Who will we see vying for the top spot on this week’s ARIA Charts?

Let’s take a look at some of the contenders.

ALBUMs

After a five year absence, British trio The xx return with third album I See You; Grafton sisters The McClymonts will be aiming for a fourth top ten debut with fifth album Endless; British musician/producer Bonobo could make his ARIA top 50 debut with sixth album Migration; Perth’s Saviour could hit the top 50 for the first time since 2013 with Let Me Leave; Japanese post-hardcore band One Ok Rock could make their ARIA Charts debut with the English version of eighth studio album Ambitions; hip hop duo Run The Jewels could crack the top 50 for the first time with Run The Jewels 3.

Look out for moves up the chart this week from the La La Land soundtrack, George Michael’s Twenty Five, Sia’s This Is Acting, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds’ Skeleton Tree and Robbie Williams’ The Heavy Entertainment Show.

Singles

The Chainsmokers will be aiming for a sixth top ten on the ARIA Singles Chart with ‘Paris’; Alessia Cara follows ‘Scars To Your Beautiful’ (#8 Dec. ’16) with ‘How Far I'll Go’; American trio Migos could make their top 50 debut with US chart-topper ‘Bad And Boujee’.

Singles that could climb the chart this week include Pnau’s ‘Chameleon’, Rag'N'Bone Man’s ‘Human’ and Machine Gun Kelly & Camila Cabello’s ‘Bad Things’.
